De Wasserij opens pop-up in de Bijenkorf Amsterdam
Newsflash: from 15 August on, De Wasserij will host a special pop-up shop in the Amsterdam branch of de Bijenkorf! At the invitation of de Bijenkorf, seven designers based in our fashion hub developed a limited edition collection, made entirely with damaged items from the department store. The collection, consisting of one-of-a-kind garments, shoes and accessories, will be released this years in four exclusive drops. After successful pop-ups in Rotterdam and The Hague, the project will land in fashion city Amsterdam this summer.

De Wasserij x de Bijenkorf
On 31 January, De Wasserij launches a brand new collaboration with de Bijenkorf. At the invitation of this iconic Dutch department store, ten designers developed a limited edition collection, made entirely with damaged items from the store. The collection, consisting of garments, shoes and accessories, will be on sale at de Bijenkorf Rotterdam until March 13, 2022.

Welcome: Zadkine Beauty & Fashion!
This September, the fashion students of Zadkine Beauty & Fashion College will start their school year in an exciting new environment: De Wasserij! In a new workspace of more than 200 m2, Zadkine will launch a new form of education, in which students of different levels and courses will work together, and have the chance to collaborate with fashion entrepreneurs.

Online discount: Makerslab De Wasserij
Designers and makers in fashion and textiles can head online to book machines in the Makerslab in De Wasserij. This week initiator SKAR launched the first version of SKARspace, an online environment where various work spaces in Rotterdam come together. De Wasserij is the first to use this online booking system.
