Angelica Falkeling
Angelica Falkeling (1988, Sweden) works as an artist, seamstress, and costume designer. They have been residing in the Netherlands since 2015 with a Master of Fine art from the Piet Zwart Institute (2017) and a Bachelor of Fine Art from Malmö Art Academy and the International Academy of Art Palestine (2014). Their work departs from textiles manifested as collages in space. With a foundation in decolonial, queer, and feminist theory, their research focuses on tacit knowledge, artistic sustainability, seasonal thinking, garment history, and polymorphous gender identities. Their work has been exhibited and performed at Textielmuseum in Tilburg, Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam, CCA Glasgow, CAC Brétigny, SIGNAL I Center for Contemporary Art in Malmö, Rib Rotterdam, Temporary Gallery and Tensta Konsthall, Cbk Rotterdam, Mondriaan Fonds, and Stimuleringfonds regularly support their work. Sidelong their art practice, they adjust, mend, and repair garments.

Amy Suo Wu
Amy Suo Wu was born in China, grew up in Australia, and lives in The Netherlands as an artist, designer and teacher. Since 2015, she has engaged in steganographic practices such as hiding techniques, evasion tactics, and covert communication as acts of protection, survival and resistance in the face of oppression and violence. This research is now published under the title ‘A Cookbook of Invisible Writing’ through Onomatopee. Her most recent interest and practice circles around literal and metaphorical approaches of mending, design as remittance and self-fulfilling prophecy and how text and textile might be woven together to form embodied publishing.

Cypherloom
Cypherloom is a generative design atelier that focuses on developing textiles based on human data and social interaction. Founded by Gianni Antonia – a Communication Designer and Researcher who graduated from Central Saint Martins, London – Cypherloom explores new approaches towards understanding the relationship between human identity and data. How can we bridge the gap between personalized garments and digital technology?
Since we opened our first atelier in 2021, we are continuously developing prototypes to invigorate unique and personal experiences for audiences and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable fashion industry.
